Nancy’s dedication to the school board is fueled by her most important role: being a mother of four. She understands the diverse needs of today’s students because she lives them every day. Her children represent a wide spectrum of the modern educational journey:

From the Golden State to the Last Frontier
Born in California, Nancy eventually moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she lived for 23 years. Her time in the North transformed her into a true outdoor enthusiast, fostering a deep appreciation for the environment and active living—values she carries with her in her service to the community.
Professional Insight & Data Leadership
Nancy currently serves as a Data Quality Analyst for the U.S. District Court, where she specializes in complex data systems and governance. Her professional background ensures that the board’s decisions are supported by:
Strategic Process Management: Nancy is currently pursuing an advanced specialization in Business Analysis & Process Management.
Technical Excellence: She holds a Google Data Analytics Specialization and is proficient in SQL and data visualization tools.
A Legacy of Public Service
Before her current role, Nancy’s career spanned nearly two decades of public service, including significant time as a School Assistant Administrator for the School-Within-A-School program at East High. There, she managed budgets and student records, ensuring compliance with state policies while fostering a student-centered environment.
Now a resident of Stansbury Park, Nancy continues to use her expertise in data and her perspective as a parent to ensure our schools remain places of excellence, accountability, and opportunity for every child.
