About the Role
The P.E. Teacher at VHCS will promote student health and wellness through engaging, technology-enhanced physical education lessons. This role involves designing and delivering fitness and movement activities that encourage students to develop motor skills, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits, even in a virtual learning environment. The teacher will utilize VR and interactive online tools to create dynamic workouts, sports simulations, and movement-based games that make physical education exciting and accessible for all students.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid Utah Educator License with a Physical Education endorsement.
Experience: Experience teaching physical education at the middle school level is preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of physical fitness, health education, and wellness principles; ability to design engaging virtual physical activities; strong classroom management skills.
