About the Role
The Middle Grades Math Teacher at VHCS will teach essential mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies to students in an interactive, VR-supported classroom. This educator will design engaging lessons that align with Utah Core Standards, incorporating real-world applications and hands-on virtual experiences to deepen students' understanding of algebra, geometry, and data analysis. The teacher will assess student progress through various formative and summative assessments, provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and foster a growth mindset toward mathematics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Valid Utah Educator License with a Secondary Education endorsement in Mathematics.
Experience teaching middle school mathematics preferred.
Ability to make mathematics accessible and engaging for diverse learners.
