About the Role
The 5th Grade Teacher at VHCS will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality instruction tailored to the unique developmental needs of upper elementary students. This role involves integrating VR-based learning experiences into core subjects to make lessons engaging and interactive. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans that meet Utah Core Standards, assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative methods, and provide individualized support to help students achieve academic success. In addition to classroom instruction, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and contribute to the school’s innovative learning environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
Valid Utah Educator License with an Elementary Education endorsement.
Experience teaching upper elementary grades preferred.
Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction.
